PC checks in a safe order

Change one thing at a time and test again. That preserves evidence about which step matters and avoids stacking new problems.

• Restart Steam and the PC, then launch the game once without overlays.
• Use Steam’s installed-files verification for App 3253530.
• Install the current stable graphics driver from NVIDIA, AMD or Intel.
• Disable capture, performance and chat overlays temporarily.
• Reset unusual launch options and test the native display resolution.
• Allow the game through security software only when the executable is the verified Steam install.

Xbox and cloud checks
